Mr. Audel Cunningham is the Legal Advisor in the Office of Trade Negotiation (OTN) of the CARICOM Secretariat, formerly the Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (CRNM).

Mr. Cunningham, in addition to his legal work at the OTN, is involved in the OTN's work with trade remedies and competition policy.

His qualifications include a LLB (hons) from the University of the West Indies (UWI), a LLM in International Trade Law with Distinction from the University of Essex, and a LLM in European Business Law from the University of Nigmegen, Pallas Consortium.

Immediately prior to assuming his post in the CRNM, he worked as Senior Legal Counsel at the Anti-Dumping and Subsidies Commission in Jamaica, and previously he was an Attorney-At-Law at distinguished law firms: DunnCox, and Derrick Darby & Co. He also collaborated with the CRNM in the FTAA arena, and more recently in the EPA arena.

Mr. Cunningham is the recipient of several awards, scholarships and academic distinctions and has written articles on trade matters in the popular Press.
